Best wishes for 2017

Dear All,

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you celebrated the arrival of 2017 in joy and happiness with your family and friends.

Now it’s time to look ahead and think about what 2017 may bring us but first a quick look back.

The year 2016 saw DFI going through many developments within a very precarious economy. But with the strong support of our headquarter Delta Techniques we have achieved our main KPIs in terms of business development in Middle East, Africa and Europe. However the recession in the oil and gas industry prevented DFI to develop further its subsea and marine department as expected so we have launched a new strategy which has resulted in the signature of a cooperation agreement with Great Waters Maritime (GWM).  GWM is a design and engineering firm specialized in subsea and marine activities, making our association a leader in the industry, onshore and offshore.

Both entities, managed from their respective hubs in Tarascon (Marseilles region) in France and Dubai in UAE, are combining now a pool of 60 employees achieving 80,000 engineering hours annually. The agreement was signed during the ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi last November in the presence of the management of 3 entites, Delta Forst International, Delta Techniques and Great Waters Maritime.

In short, the current market is quite challenging to work in. But no matter what the circumstances are, we at DFI & GWM will not lose sight of our priorities : put our clients interest first, value professional relations, deliver engineering studies in total independence and strive to deliver excellence every time.

The past 2 years have had a significant impact on all of us but I would like to thank all our customers for their continual support and I am sure 2017 will be a year of opportunities and new challenges for all of us.

Best Wishes for 2017
